Our whale expeditions

For your comfort, safety and everyone's enjoyment, our services are only provided by private boat and accompanied by a naturalist guide and a professional captain. The guide will accompany you for each launch with a safety buoy. We recommend that you limit your group to 8 people.
TAHITI SHARK EXPEDITIONS

Our "humpback whales" expeditions from 20th of july to 20th of november

Polynesian waters welcome humpback whales every year between July and November, where they take their time giving birth and mating. Moorea is the most beautiful place in the world to get up close and observe them with a snorkel, which is exactly what we offer.

True to our philosophy, we only offer full-day expeditions. This way, we're not pressed for time. We have the time to respectfully approach the animals, and if the conditions are right, we'll head into the water.
Whale watching snorkeling trips are subject to weather and whale behavior. For these reasons, observing marine mammals in the water is not contractually binding. But rest assured, during peak season, we have a 90% success rate.

If you are staying at one of the hotels on Moorea's north coast, between the Manava Resort and the Hibiscus Hotel, we can pick you up directly by boat free of charge. If you are staying outside these hotels, we will provide you with the nearest meeting point.

In addition to whale watching, all the observations offered in the "Lagoon Discoveries" program, such as snorkeling with turtles, sharks, and rays, are possible.

Bring sunscreen (if possible, respecting the coral), towels, and a windbreaker. If necessary, we will provide you with all snorkeling equipment and neoprene shorts.

Our expeditions are authorized by the French Polynesia Department of the Environment.

Just as a diving instructor cannot seriously supervise a dive and take pictures at the same time, the guide who will accompany you will ensure your safety as a priority.

For this reason, and to ensure your safety, we offer the service of a professional freelance photographer.
